Repairs
Surgical Holdings can repair all manner of surgical instruments, scopes, air tools and electric hand pieces, diathermy and bipolar cables and instruments. All repairs carried out are to an exceptionally high standard, we make sure we go the extra mile and distinguish our repairs from others.
Instruments
- Instruments will be checked and logged for traceability
- Quotation raised
- Repair carried out, to take instrument back to 'as new' state
- Repolished/finished
- Re passivated where appropriate
- Laser marked for identification
Your instruments will be cared for and repaired to the standard and state that they were purchased as new. For example, all super cut scissors will be sharpened as super cut, on our purpose built wheels, rather than just a basic dry grindstone. When you send in i.e. chisels/osteotomes/gauges for repair, we will replace handles and laser mark the sizes of these for you, for identification. Please feel free to call our sales representatives to discuss your repair requirements. If you decide to send your repairs to Surgical Holdings, we will arrange a regular collection to your requirements. We provide protective security boxes for you to put your instruments in. They will be repaired in 7 workings days and returned to you, as new. If there are any replacements, we will quote for these.
Endoscopes
You are only charged for what is done; there is no fixed standard price. Official European parts are used to ensure the longevity of your repair, so that the scope is kept in an original condition. Parts for various manufacturers. eg. Storz, Wolf, Olympus, Aesculap, are stocked. German trained technicians work through a repair report, and high tech equipment sets your Endoscope up so that it works to it’s optimum ability. Each instrument is reconditioned, reground, repolished, re satined and returned to you as new. A full breakdown and summary report of the work carried out is provided.
Air Tools and Hoses
All popular brands of air tools and hoses are repaired. during service as standard, they will be stripped down and bearings cleaned. Seals are replaced, veins in hand pieces replaced, reassembled, lubricated and tested. Collets and chucks reset. Full service report. A service plan can be personalised, to ensure optimium performance of your hand pieces.
Bipolar Forcep recoating and bipolar leads
Bipolar Forceps and leads can be repaired and recoated where appropriate. All instruments are retested before they are returned.
Diathermy Forcep recoating and diathermy leads
Bipolar Forceps and leads can be repaired and recoated where appropriate. All instruments are retested before they are returned.
