Surgical Holdings are joining EBME Expo 2023 to showcase its one-of-a-kind surgical repair service<\/a> that transforms broken, damaged, and worn instruments into an \u2018as new\u2019 condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unique service allows theatre and sterile services teams to manage and care for their surgical instruments in a sustainable and cost-effective way while ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All repairs are carried out in Surgical Holdings\u2019 state-of-the-art workshop facility based in Southend by a team of highly skilled and experienced technicians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For hospitals, this ensures a quick, quality-controlled and cost-efficient service, without the costs and delays associated with overseas shipping. The team also offer the guarantee of product placement if they are unable to return the instrument to an \u2018as new\u2019 condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To streamline the repair process, Surgical Holdings has also developed an online customer interface software called \u2018Surgifix\u2019, allowing customers to manage their repairs remotely and create real-time reports on work done. Hospitals can communicate directly with the repair team to stay up to date with the live progress of repairs and the option to view historical scope repair reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award-winning British manufacturer of surgical Instruments and established supplier \u2013will also be demonstrating the ground-breaking NuTrace laser marking system for the first time at the exhibition to help hospitals ensure full traceability of surgical instruments in the sterile supply workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surgical Holdings repairs over 13,000 surgical instruments per year, including rigid endoscopes and orthopaedic power tools. Using the latest optical technology, the company repairs scopes back to the manufacturer\u2019s specification, with all parts having full traceability. They also manufacture complicated fibre bundles for endoscopes in-house, using high-quality German fibre optic material and stainless steel tubing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, they are the only service provider in the UK repairing Pneumatic and Battery handpieces under one roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
