The IDSc now has its own post graduate degree course, run in conjunction with Anglia Ruskin University.<\/p>\n<p>Current challenges include the ongoing issue of Cjd and the innovation of medical devices to ensure they can be decontaminated in a safe manner.<\/p>\n<p>This week in Blackpool includes a number of key sessions, including an update on postgraduate qualifications from Anglia Ruskin University.<\/p>\n<p>The 3rd Dec sees &#8216;how clean is clean&#8217; at the forefront again, with the latest research on protein residue being presented. With new protein detection methods now on the market, will the new procedures regarding surgical instruments and protein detection be established at this years conference?<\/p>\n<p>There are so many variables regarding cleaning the instruments that it will be interesting to see if a &#8216;one size fits all&#8217;
