Basic Knee Instrument Sets
We know how confusing it can be when ordering new basic knee instrument sets, especially since hospitals, surgical teams, and individual orthopaedic consultants often have their own specific preferences for instrument styles or numbers. These basic knee sets are designed to support surgeons through the essential stages of knee procedures, from initial incision and soft tissue handling to bone access and manipulation. The sets include reliable scalpel handles (No. 3 and No. 4) for precise incisions, a DIN basket for organised sterilisation and transport, and a variety of forceps such as Lane dissecting forceps and Gillies dissecting forceps for secure tissue handling. Haemostasis is supported with multiple Kocher artery forceps, while scissors, like Mayo and dressing scissors, allow for accurate tissue dissection and cutting.

To assist with deeper dissection and orthopaedic tasks, the sets also feature tools such as Fergusson bone holding forceps and Trethowan bone levers, along with Swedish osteotomes and Hohmann-Muller spike bone elevators for controlled bone work.
