It’s the little wins that count.

If Sunday’s antics taught us anything at all, it gave us a worthy lesson that with strong management, good communication, drive and determination, we can achieve an overwhelming sense of team spirit and the confidence to strive for something brilliant.

Under the ultimate pressure, our boys gave us a rollercoaster game of passion, resilience and hope. There is no denying it was a performance we will not forget for a long time, and after 55 years of hurt, although we missed the win by a fraction, our three lions didn’t lose momentum for a second.

This strength and absolute dedication for their sport is a much transferable asset we can all apply in our own fields. All professionals in a varied line of industries have the need for care in their work, smart tactics and confidence in their ability to deliver. Whether its muddy whites on the pitch, or pristine surgical repairs in the workshop; each team player must entirely focus on the importance of the task in hand. Then perhaps maybe, we can all take home a small win every single day…

Much like the England team, we are a close-knit family of our own, proud of the values we aim to uphold in our day-to-day practice. We are firm believers that by team working and combining our well thought out principles, we will continue to achieve our goal for producing high-end solutions and a top-quality customer service. Ironically, the elements that make Surgical Holdings a trusted British Manufacturer and Repairer are entirely applicable to those that the England Team channelled throughout their Euro 2020 tournament journey.

Working smart and collaborating solidly as a team is paramount to kicking off an Award-winning service. With multiple departments ranging from specialist technical and practical craft in the workshop, to the professional routine administration over here in the office; it is essential we refrain from working as segments. At Surgical Holdings, our processes involve every aspect of the business chain within our premises, and our departments stay connected. Our goal is to thoroughly oversee every segment from the initial inspection, right through to the immaculate repair and orderly, timely despatch.

Working safely is everything when working with machines and instruments. Much like Southgate removing the finest players towards the end of the Semi game, we take every precaution necessary to ensure our players are protected in their specialist work. Our technicians are passionate, and work to within micrometres of accuracy. The instruments we service are made and repaired to a flawless quality finish; reflecting the high standard we ourselves would expect as patients on the operating table. Just as us fans will expect that it’s coming home next November 2022!

England gave us a fine show of adaptability within their tactics on Sunday’s final. Recognising quickly and adapting to the state of the game within those first 15 minutes. England’s hero must identify and act on weaknesses, pressing on the opposing strengths to achieve that win. At Surgical Holdings, an essential part of successful business is upkeeping the same ability to be adaptable and flexible. But admittedly, the only aspect that remains rigid, is the free Rigid Endoscope Inspection service offered to our clients following the events of 2020!

Drawing to a close following the hype of this weekend just gone, we celebrate our support and resilience as a country of strivers dedicated to self-development despite the result. After 30 years of service (not hurt), we are by no means finished learning! Success comes through teamwork, ambition and ongoing Education. At Surgical Holdings, Continuing Professional Development enables us to manage our learning and our growth as an ever-evolving company. We invest time and resource into keeping up to date with industry news, further qualifications, accreditations and opportunity to further develop skills, innovate and uphold our commitment to quality and improvement. We are firm believers that these are the tactics required to take home big wins.

So all things considered and winning attributes identified, here’s to the World Cup 2022.

Because Southgate, you’re still the one.
