Corporate Theme of Sustainability | Introducing our Company Initiative
We’re taking big steps towards positive climate action this year and are devoting our attention to giving back to our planet. We thought, what better way to make a really big positive impact than to commit to an environmentally focused Company Initiative?
So that’s what we’ve done.
In support of our Corporate Theme of Sustainability, Surgical Holdings has proudly become a Corporate Member of Ecologi, alongside the big shot players such as BBC, Tech Crunch, Forbes, The Guardian and sum 11,300 other businesses worldwide.
We are so excited to present you with scientific insight on our real time carbon-footprint analysis over the next year, and to explore the possibilities of this impressive initiative, so let’s take a moment to appreciate the highlights of what our venture has in store for us…

We are thrilled to be able to share news on the specific national and international projects that we are contributing towards. We intend to educate on the importance of being climate positive as a business and look internally as to how we can better our knowledge on environmental impacts and practices as individuals and as a company body.
What have we combatted so far? | Smart Repair & Steel Wastage
Environmental initiatives are no stranger to us here at Surgical Holdings. We are glad to extend our green footprint further than avidly promoting our established Smart Repair service, further practicing ethical duty not only in our in-house Refurbishment services, but on a much larger scale exceeding how we operate as a business day to day.
Having focused on combating the global issue of Steel Wastage in the medical industry through our Smart Repair service, we continue to address the expanding topical issue as raised by an increasing number of medical professionals worldwide.
Our initial contribution to reducing the impact of this red flag remains; driving our commitment to our specialised and expert repairs on used instruments is a positive approach to making a difference. But having now gone further, funding tree planting is inspiring for us and impactful on a global level.
Going further than in-house impacts | Being informed on a worldwide scale
We also understand the value of enhancing Customer’s experience with access to a status dashboard, and we’re proud of our own unique Surgifix system as part of our repair service. We appreciate the added benefit of giving customers a direct channel of communication and information, detailing live status updates with our Repair Team. So, it’s no surprise that we are super excited about our Ecologi dashboard, of which is accessible to everyone.
We’re notified of all trees planted, certified tonnes of carbon reduced, and the details of projects funded. It’s not hard to guess how much we ourselves appreciate such an insightful system!
In being informed of the specific global locations of the projects, the people and locals involved and having a real understanding of what the planting projects are working to achieves give us an overwhelming humanitarian connection to the good being done across the world. It personalises it for us, making the impact real.
